Grant Taylor

Personal Trainer, Class Instructor & Amovida Director

Grant’s passion for movement began in South Africa, where sport and an active lifestyle were simply part of daily life. Competing in hockey at a national junior level sparked his interest in strength training and group fitness, eventually leading to a lifelong commitment to coaching and helping others move well.

After relocating to the UK in 2002, Grant worked at Holmes Place, where he developed a strong focus on injury rehabilitation and functional movement. With a background in aircraft engineering, he brings a technical and precise approach to biomechanics, specialising in sustainable training and long-term joint health.

He’s a lifelong learner, continuously refining his methods to meet the individual needs of his clients—always with patience, creativity, and care. When he’s not coaching, you’ll often find him cycling, enjoying a glass of South African wine, or doing studio maintenance—usually with a paintbrush in hand!

Areas of Expertise:

✔ Injury rehabilitation (knee, hip and ankle focus)

✔Strength training for longevity and resilience

✔Technical coaching with an emphasis on biomechanics

Only one PT space remains with Grant – book soon to secure it.

Personal Trainer – Expert in Adaptive Fitness for Disability and Chronic Illness

Teya’s career as a personal trainer started in 2021, when she set out to offer inclusive fitness support for everyone, but especially people with a disability or chronic illness.
